Arcadia is a pleasure boat owned by P&O Cruises. During the stay in Bremerhaven a general overhaul of the vessel was performed with additional construction of 24 new cabins on deck 10. That was where we conducted our works that included thermal, sound and firefighting insulation of all the new section as well as installation of almost 600 m2 of floating floor. The floor-related works had to be finished in only 3 days, but due to an excellent organization of work and the commitment of almost 50 people working on shifts we managed to meet the deadline.

During the work at Arcadia we could experience one of the greatest hurricanes of the last years in north Europe. Luckily, the section was well secured before the wind hit and we could continue the work inside. Due to the hurricane, Arcadia started its voyage two days late. More information on the vessel is at the ship owners website
